1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Averiq Works (“Averiq Works”, “we”, “us”) processes information in connection with:

• the Averiq Works website — the public pages on which this policy is published; and
• Averiq Works Marketing OS — the studio's internal, owner-operated marketing system, including its integration with Pinterest.

Averiq Works is an independent, owner-operated digital product studio that develops and manages its own digital products. Averiq Works Marketing OS is used only by the studio's operator, for the studio's own products, and connects only to accounts that belong to the operator. It is not offered as a service to the public or to other businesses.

2. Information we may process

When you visit the website

• Information you choose to send us. If you contact Averiq Works using the contact details on this website, we receive the information you include, such as your name, email address and the content of your message.
• Standard technical information. Like most websites, this site is served by a hosting provider whose systems may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page and timestamps. This is used for delivering the site, security and troubleshooting.

The website has no user accounts, no sign-in, no forms that store data, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking technologies. It does not set cookies for tracking or marketing purposes.

When the Pinterest integration is used

When the operator connects their own Pinterest Business account to Averiq Works Marketing OS, the application may process the following information about that account, and only to the extent it is needed:

• Pinterest account identifier
• Pinterest username or account name
• Account type (for example, whether it is a business account)
• The permissions (scopes) granted during authorization
• Board identifiers and names, needed to select owner-chosen publishing destinations
• Pin identifiers and publishing-result metadata, where needed to confirm what was published
• Authorization status and related timestamps (for example, when access was granted or disconnected)
• The authorization tokens Pinterest issues to allow the integration to act for the account

The integration is not designed to collect information about other Pinterest users, including their private Pins, boards or account details.

3. Pinterest authentication

• Averiq Works Marketing OS does not ask for, collect or store Pinterest passwords.
• The account connection uses Pinterest's official authorization mechanism: the account owner signs in on Pinterest and decides there whether to grant access.
• Only the permissions granted by the account owner are used, and only for the purposes in this policy.

4. Authorization tokens

To act for the connected account, the integration relies on authorization tokens issued by Pinterest. These tokens are treated as confidential. They are stored in protected form, are used only by the integration to perform the actions described in this policy, and are never displayed publicly or published on this website. When the integration is disconnected or access is revoked, the associated tokens are no longer used.

5. How information is used

Information processed through the Pinterest integration is used only to:

• connect the operator's own Pinterest account to Averiq Works Marketing OS;
• read account data that the owner has permitted, such as the account's own boards and Pins;
• let the owner select a destination board, or create a test board when the owner requests it;
• publish Pins that the owner has reviewed and explicitly approved;
• verify the connection and the results of publishing;
• troubleshoot problems and keep the integration secure; and
• disconnect the integration and stop using its access.

Information you send us through the website's contact details is used only to read and reply to your message and to keep a reasonable record of the correspondence.

6. AI-assisted processing

Averiq Works's internal software, including Averiq Works Marketing OS, may use AI-assisted tools to help prepare or analyse marketing material for the studio's own products — for example, drafting descriptions based on product information supplied by the operator.

• AI assistance does not replace the owner's decisions. Connecting an account, approving content, creating a board and publishing each require an explicit action by the owner.
• Pinterest passwords are never collected, and authorization tokens are not provided to AI tools.
• Averiq Works does not use data obtained through the Pinterest API to train AI models.

7. Data sharing

• Averiq Works does not sell personal information, and does not share it for advertising purposes.
• Information may be processed by infrastructure and service providers (such as website hosting) only where needed to operate the website or Averiq Works Marketing OS, subject to those providers' services and applicable law.
• Data obtained from Pinterest is handled in accordance with the permissions granted by the account owner and the applicable Pinterest terms and policies.
• Information may be disclosed if required by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety or security of Averiq Works, its users or others.

8. Data retention

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the website and the integration, maintain security, meet legal obligations, and keep a history of the account connection and publishing activity — and in line with applicable platform requirements.

When the Pinterest integration is disconnected, or access is revoked from Pinterest, the related authorization tokens are no longer used. Records that are no longer needed are deleted or de-identified within a reasonable period.

9. Security

Averiq Works uses reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to a small studio to protect the information it processes, including limiting access to authorization credentials and keeping them out of public view. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Your choices and rights

The owner of the connected Pinterest account can:

• disconnect the Pinterest account from within Averiq Works Marketing OS;
• revoke the application's access at any time from the Pinterest account's settings; and
• contact Averiq Works with privacy questions or requests.

Anyone who has contacted Averiq Works may ask to access, correct or delete the information they sent. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law; Averiq Works will respond to requests in line with the law that applies.

11. Third-party services

Averiq Works Marketing OS integrates with Pinterest, a third-party platform operated independently of Averiq Works. Your use of Pinterest is governed by Pinterest's own terms of service and privacy policy, which are available on Pinterest's website. Averiq Works is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms or websites.

12. Children's privacy

This website and Averiq Works Marketing OS are not directed to children, and the Pinterest integration is intended only for use by the studio's adult operator with their own business account. Averiq Works does not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website or the integration. This is separate from the subject matter of any products the studio may publish, some of which may be intended for young readers or learners.

13. International users and applicable law

The website can be accessed from many countries, and the service providers that support it may process information in countries other than your own. Averiq Works handles information in line with this policy wherever it is processed, and in accordance with the data protection laws that apply to it.

14. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website, Averiq Works Marketing OS, the Pinterest integration or applicable requirements. The updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Where a change is significant, reasonable steps will be taken to make it clear.
